Because these gifts are so special to ME, I've been making more and more of our Christmas gifts as well! This year so far, I've made my daughter a sweater (you can see a pic of her modeling it here but I haven't officially given it to her yet, haha) and am in the process of making the youngest boy a sweater as well. For my older boys, I plan to make Perry the Platypus hats. Lol. But making gifts doesn't stop at my immediate family for me; I've made scarves for many of the ladies in our family as well. We've made ornaments. All sorts of things.
Today, I'd like to share a list of items that your kids could easily help you with to make Christmas a little more special. I think a homemade gift says, "I was thinking about you and I wanted to make a little extra effort on your gift this year."
Here's the link to the homemade gift ideas: http://familyfun.go.com/christmas/homemade-christmas-gifts/christmas-gifts-kids-can-make/
My favorites from the list? I'd definitely say the Candle Jars and the Cookie Cutter Candles are among my favorites! Candles are a fun present and a fun project too! :)
Anyone else planning on a homemade Christmas this year? What kinds of items will you be giving and making?
